Library Services

NHTS students have specified access to the Mark O. Hatfield Library on the campus of Willamette University. NHTS book purchases have enhanced Willamette’s collection, where needed, to provide a basic reference library for NHTS students. Limited computer access is available from the Hatfield Library.

NHTS students may have use of the Mt. Angel Abbey Library in Mt. Angel, Oregon, by paying a modest annual fee.

The Hatfield librarian assigned to assist NHTS students in matters of research and reference is Doreen Simonsen, Humanities and Fine Arts Librarian (dsimonse@willamette.edu; 503-375-5343).

Some reference materials are available at the NHTS offices, as well as a growing collection of books. The library is available during normal NHTS office hours.
