The Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference Declares NHTS SUNDAY
The United Methodist Churches of the Oregon-Idaho Annual Conference are encouraged to lift up the mission and ministry of the Northwest House of Theological Studies on June 1, which has been declared NHTS Sunday. The Northwest House is celebrating the 10th Anniversary of its first entering class in the Fall of 2008.

Dr. Mark Brocker: Environmental Ethics Workshop & Course
The Northwest House of Theological Studies is pleased to announce that an “Environmental Ethics” workshop
and course will be offered this June. The event is being held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Beaverton and
the instructor will be Dr. Mark Brocker, Lead Pastor of St. Andrew and Adjunct Professor of Christian Ethics
here at NHTS.
This course is intended to attract a wide variety of participants: seminary students, professionals addressing environmental concerns, clergy taking the course for continuing education, lay leaders in congregations, and concerned citizens. Cost: $310 per credit hour ($150 to audit the course. This option is for a limited number of people)
